B2C Reserve Inventory: Keeping accurate inventory counts is important especially during elevated sales volume like COVID-19. Now when consumers order product and it's in either Need to Confirm or Dealer Order status requiring a shipment to the store we are keeping track of reserved inventory. This makes items temporarily unavailable for purchase to other customers (both B2B & B2C) while the order is being processed to prevent overselling.
Note: Deducting the inventory for sale on Shopify without impacting inventory numbers requires creating a new Location in Shopify called 'Reserved'.
B2B Reserve Inventory: Now when dealers place B2B orders that are not yet processed we are temporarily reserving the inventory until confirmation to make them non-saleable (online or to other B2B customers).
Reserve Inventory Display: For more detail on what items are on reserve and to which orders (either B2C or B2B) you can click on the Inventory tab to see a list by warehouse.
Risk Level Display on Transactions: We are now making the assessments on transactions behind the scenes fully visible to brands, retailers, sales reps, and staff members. When an elevated risk transaction occurs it will be flagged in the platform with a warning sign. This is intended to ensure retailers take proper precautions in checking that the Government issued ID matches the credit card. See below for how it will appear on your dashboard:
How it will appear inside the order if Elevated Risk. Most transactions will appear as Normal with green text. All order types will have the risk assessment whether direct or involving a retailer.
Billing Address Added on Direct Orders: Billing Addresses will now be added on direct orders inside ShipEarly.
Affirm Desktop: Currently consumers only have Google Play or Apple iStore to download Affirm app as an option. We've added the Desktop registration as a default button. Please note Affirm is only available in USA.
Canada Postal Codes: Dealers registering in Canada will now automatically have the proper format applied when registering their accounts. After the 3rd character a space will automatically be populated for the retailer. We currently do this already for consumers during checkout.
Trim Whitespace on Discounts: When consumers copy and paste discounts they sometimes copy the adjacent space and attempt to enter the discount box. Now on any discounts we eliminate whitespace for a better experience not very obvious to the end consumer.
Retailer Import/Export: We are adding Delivery Radius, Dealer Protect Radius, B2B Tax, B2B Minimum Order Value, Non-Stocking on export/import and retailer Stripe status only to the export.
