How to Obtain Your Consumer Key & Secret

To initiate an integration with WooCommerce a consumer key and consumer secret are required to sync your products, inventory information, and for us to place orders into WooCommerce to streamline your operations.

To obtain your consumer Key and consumer secret, please follow WooCommerce instructions:

1. From your WordPress admin, hover over WooCommerce and click Settings

2. Click on ADVANCED tab within settings

3. Click REST API on the Page setup section just below the ADVANCED tab you selected

4. Click Add Key

5. In the description field, call it something familiar like "ShipEarly"

6. Select the User the API Key is associated with, likely the user will require admin rights. If you would like to create a separate user do so in the Users section of WooCommerce, however this is not required.

7. For permissions select Read/Write as we do place orders and customer information into WooCommerce

8. Click Generate API Key

9. Copy the Consumer Key & Secret into the corresponding fields for eCommerce Settings

Note: For WooCommerce users you must track the inventory for all products within your eCommerce platform for the products to populate in ShipEarly. We also use inventory tracking to let dealers know how much stock you have on hand to place wholesale orders with you.
