We offer a highly configurable tool to be able to sell products any which way you want. Some of those methods include Store Pickup, Local Delivery, or Ship from Store. In addition to toggling the options on in Shipment Settings > Dealer Options each product must be enabled to show in the shipping method. To enable or disable the options follow the instructions below after clicking on the products tab:
Store Pickup
By default, store pickup is enabled meaning products will show and be eligible for consumers to buy online and pickup at a store. If products are disabled from store pickup and an item is in the cart without store pickup, all products by default will not be eligible for store pickup.
Local Delivery
Local delivery is a great way to increase convenience for consumers and is becoming a core competency of retailers to deliver products in person to end customers. This could include products requiring assembly, white glove delivery and take-away services, or install. By default products are not enabled for Local Delivery and must be enabled either via the user interface, export/import, or our API.
To make a specific product eligible for local delivery:
- Click on Products Tab
- Under the Delivery Column for a specific SKU or set of SKUs indicate they are eligible for the service. This can be done in bulk via the export/import or API
- Click Save
For the option to show on checkout, you must enable the Local Delivery service in Shipment Settings.
Ship from Store
Where store locations have inventory or if you wish to reverse dropship on behalf of a dealer you can utilize Ship from Store where items are shipped to the consumers home (priority for dealer to ship from location as it is closer/cheaper). If the dealer does not have inventory you can ship on the dealers behalf to the consumer and the dealer gets accredited the sale. By default Ship from Store is turned off for every product and must be enabled either in the user interface or on the products export/import.
- Click on Products Tab
- Under the Ship from Store Column for a specific SKU or set of SKUs indicate they are eligible for the service individually, in bulk via the export/import or API.
- Click Save
Please note that for Ship from Store to be enabled on Products page you must turn on Ship from Store in Shipment Settings.
