You can create a transfer from a supplier to track and receive your purchase orders and incoming inventory. After you submit a purchase order to your supplier and receive a confirmation, then you can create a transfer to record the incoming inventory.
- Login to your admin account, click Inventory > Add/Edit Transfers where all your transfers past and current are displayed
- Click Add Transfer
- The default status for a transfer is pending and cannot be adjusted at this stage, provide a reference ID (PO Number) which is optional, a destination warehouse for the inventory, and select an expected arrival date. The expected arrival date will be displayed within the app to internal employees and external customers when ordering.
- Download the spreadsheet which will list all of your product variants that can be added to the transfer. We only manage transfers via spreadsheets or if you wish via our Inventory Transfers API
- Click Submit
After you create a transfer, you can view incoming inventory amounts on the inventory transfer page and on individual products pages. Each transfer can be edited or deleted once created.
