You can offer your customers a fixed value or percentage discount on products, collections, or variants in your store.
Create a fixed value or percentage discount
To create a fixed value or percentage discount:

From your ShipEarly admin, go to Discounts.

From the Discounts page, click Create discount.
- Decide if you are going to be creating a single discount code or bulk discount codes

In the Discount code section, provide a name to track the discount by and enter a name for the new discount code (for example,
15offnecklaces
). To generate a random discount code, click Generate code. -
In the Options section, select the discount type that you want to create.
Enter a monetary or percentage value for the discount in the Discount value box.
- Use the calendar in the Active dates section to set the start and end date for the discount.

In the Orders section, select what this discount will apply to: All Orders, Orders Over a Minimum Purchase Price, Category, Product Title, or SKU/Variant
- In the Retailers section, select if the discount will apply to:
- None - Only available for Ship to Door
- All - Available for Retail transactions and Ship to Door
- Select Dealer Tier - Only available for select retail tiers (ie. Gold, Silver, Bronze)
- Select Retailer - Discount is only eligible for retailer or retailers selected for use
- or Direct Only - Only Ship to Door shows and discount is applied. Utilized for VIP or contests
- Note: if customers use a Direct Only discount and enter your warehouse address they can obtain local pickup of their order.

If you want to limit discount usage, then check one of the options in the Usage limits section:
- Limit number of times this discount can be used in total lets you set a total number of times a discount can be used. For example, setting a limit of 200 allows the discount code to be used 200 times across your customer base. If you choose this setting, then customers can use the discount multiple times.
- Limit to one per customer tracks customer emails to limit discount use to one per customer.

When you are finished, click Save at the top of the screen. Your new discount will now appear in the Discounts tab in your ShipEarly admin. To distribute this discount, you can send the code to your customers by email, or display it on your online store. Your customers need to enter the code during checkout to receive the discount.
